.. a song new like rain

   ..
It gets more and more simplistic:
   Good and bad, evil and bad;
      what else do we know?

..
But there was that train of thought
That satisfied one nicely: how one was going to climb down
Out of here, hopefully
To arrive on a perfectly flat spit of sand
Level with the water.

  ..
  But for all you I
  Have neglected, ignored,
  ..
Not been that friend that is     approaching,
I ask forgiveness, a song new     like rain.
  Please sing it to me.

    1. I credit the pup with your hyperbole, mon vieux, but I'll keep it very happily. Yes, he is to fly here from the Coast around the end of the month, Easter weekend, we think. Cliché lives on, in the pastures of Virginia ..

    1. They all are, dear Barbara - but then they grow into these miracles, for whom there are no words - "No," possibly excepted! Thank you for coming ~

    1. He is, he is; and growing v fast but not yet here. So far, so spiffy, but it's all in the temperament and, of course, his accent. D'you think you could spare a few moments with him? :)
