  1. We were walking down the street away from Thomas Jefferson Junior High School. The school dance had ended and we were walking toward the ice cream store on Cedar Lane in Teaneck, New Jersey. We were a group of 10, maybe 15, boys and girls. We were walking in the dark. The school bully was also walking down the street, not with us, but alone, and he shouted "I'll beat you all up." I can't remember his name now. I am sure I will remember later. I turned around and looked at him and said "Who do do you think you are? Superman." He said nothing. He never bothered us, or anyone, again. I recall, in fact, we became friends; not friends but respectful of each other. And under each student's yearbook picture there appears one or two words about that person. Under my name: "Remember Superman."
